Court Resurfacing at Town Walls

Court Resurfacing commenced on 26th July.  To date (8th August) the tarmac has been laid and the line painting is scheduled for next week, we are still not sure when we can start play, the installer will let us know when it is safe to play again. 
However  for the first two months the surface will be slightly 'tender' and extra care is important, for example unsuitable footwear and definitely no 'racquet abuse'!  
If the weather is hot the surface could soften and play should stop immediately
We will keep you informed of the progress but hopefully we will be able to play again soon.
To add to it all we are unable to use the car park until 18th August - it is closed for The Household Cavalry and their horses who are appearing at the Flower Show.
We just have to keep in mind we are soon going to have super new courts!
