Courts are ready to play

The courts at Town Walls have now been resurfaced with porous macadam.  Normal play can now commence, the courts have temporary lines and will remain black for another 6 weeks when they will be painted green.  However in the first few months extra care is recommended.  In particular unsuitable footwear and other bad habits such as 'racquet abuse' should be prohibited, especially in hot weather.  In fact playing in hot weather is not recommended. We are now looking forward to being able to enjoy the tennis for the rest of the summer.
