Country Walk with Town Walls

For something a bit different and..... because we were wanting something to keep us all amused why the courts were out of action, a walk in the beautiful Shropshire country side was arranged for us  by Jackie and Stephen Winwood. An excellent circular five mile walk which took us around the canals and fields of Maesbury, and included an explore of the little hidden gem of St Winifred's well - no doubt once full of ancient mysticism and secret powers  but now a very charming and peaceful spot.  The walk conveniently ended at the Navigation Inn where we all enjoyed an excellent pub lunch.  Thanks to Jackie and Stephen for a most enjoyable morning's walk.
