Finals Day

Town Walls held their Club Championships on Saturday October 2nd.  The Motto Jones Shield for the Men's Doubles, The Hundred Club Shield for the Ladies Doubles and the Mixed Doubles Trophy were all contested. 

Motto Jones the Club President presented the Trophies. 

Winners were:-  The Motto Jones Shield Michael Thomas and Mike Barnsley,  Hundred Club Shield Liz Trotman and Teresa Thomas  Mixed Doubles Trophy Michael Thomas and Di Purslow. 
The Ellis Shield for the most improved Junior Member was awarded to Victoria Ainsworth aged 9. 

Congratulations to all those winners and runners up and to everyone who entered into the competition.  Finals Day was a very enjoyable day of great tennis with, as usual, a great afternoon tea.  Thank you to everyone who contributed and grateful thanks to Anne Hasnip Tournament organiser.
