Opening Tournament 3rd April

The Opening Tournament on Sunday 3rd April started the new tennis season off at Town Walls Tennis Club.  The Club had much pleasure in welcoming the family of our late, president Motto Jones.  The family donated a bench to the Club which is dedicated to Motto's memory.  Tony Legg made a short speech thanking the family and outlining Motto's long association with Town Walls Tennis Club. The tournament followed and it was an enjoyable afternoon of tennis and, as usual, a wonderful afternoon tea.  The tournament was won by Anne Hasnip and Mike Braithwaite.
